About the Owner, Christina Scalise

 Christina is the owner of Light Source Within and a practicing medium, intuition development coach, certified spiritual advisor, and certified Reiki Master/Teacher in the Usui Reiki tradition. She is also a registered member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals (IARP). 

 Since February 2012, Christina has worked with clients and students, offering guidance, healing, and intuitive development. She has received extensive training in mediumship, spirit communication, intuition development, Usui Reiki energy healing, auras, crystals, and crystal healing. 

 Her studies include mentorship and training with many well-known and highly respected professionals in the field, including Hibiscus Moon, and psychic mediums James Van Praagh, Lisa Williams, Tony Stockwell, John Holland, Janet Nohavec, Lisa K., Ruthie Larkin (“The Bean Town Medium”), and Diana Friedell, among others. 

 In addition to her spiritual work, Christina is a bestselling author, speaker, retired professional organizer, and a devoted wife and mother of three.

 Believe it or not, Christina was raised in a family of skeptics—non-believers in all things metaphysical. Growing up in a rural area with little exposure to the spiritual world, it took many years before she experienced mediumship or Reiki energy healing for the first time. 

 That changed one day when she was persuaded to visit a local psychic fair. Deciding to relax, have fun, and keep an open mind, she signed up for a mediumship reading—just for the experience. Little did she know, it would completely change the direction of her life. 

 Not only did she receive an incredibly accurate and detailed reading, but she also had an unexpected energetic experience. The reader asked if she could connect with her energy by holding her hands a few inches above Christina’s, as they rested on the table. Christina agreed—and was stunned when she suddenly felt Reiki energy moving up her arms. The energy then swirled into her chest, exactly where the reader said she had directed it. The sensation was undeniable, and Christina immediately knew she wanted to learn more. 

 After asking countless questions and researching the best Reiki teachers in her area, she began training right away. Within a year and a half, she earned her Reiki Master certification. During that time, she practiced on as many people—and animals—as possible, amazed at how many benefited from her sessions… and how often messages from Spirit began to come through. 

  This experience opened the door to an entirely new world—including continued encounters with Spirit. Driven by a deep thirst for knowledge, Christina pursued further training in multiple areas, ultimately leading to the creation of Light Source Within.

Light Source Within was founded in 2012, initially offering Reiki healing services alongside a small selection of crystals and stones. Within a few years, it quickly grew into a well-loved holistic wellness center and crystal gift shop in Upstate NY. In early 2020, the business transitioned to online services and sales and later relocated to New Hampshire.

 Over the years, we have provided a wide range of services, classes, events, and gatherings, along with more than 250 varieties of affordable, high-quality, clean energy crystals & stones. 

 We have rarely relied on advertising, instead growing through our reputation, word-of-mouth referrals, and a commitment to delivering the quality service and products our clients deserve. 

 Many customers have shared that they could truly feel the difference in our crystals and stones. Others often said the shop itself felt different—so much so that they didn’t want to leave. They would spend time exploring, connecting with the energy, and engaging with the stones. These moments often led to meaningful conversations, shared experiences, and the inspiration for new services based on customer interest.
