Healing Properties of Crystals & Stones (K-P)
- K2: (a.k.a. K2 Stone, K2 Granite, Raindrop Azurite, K2 Jasper, Blue Berry Jasper): K2 isn't actually a Jasper as it is white/gray granite that contains contrasting orbs of bright blue Azurite (the granite is composed of quartz, plagioclase, muscovite and biotite). Green Malachite can also be present. A rare and unique stone, named after the second-highest mountain in the world, K-2 (also known as Mount Godwin Austen), where it is found exclusively in the snowy peaks of the mountain in Pakistan, making mining for this stone quite difficult. K2 can increase and elevate the vibrations of any of the body’s energy centers and helps with verbal communication, grounding and balancing (both emotional and physical), clarity and insight, psychic abilities, intuition, spiritual guidance/communication/insight and past life recall. - Larvikite (a.k.a. many other names… Lavarkite, Birds Eye Granite, Pearlspar, Blue Pearl Granite, Emerald Pearl, Norwegian Pearl Granite, Blue Antique, Blue Norwegian Moonstone, Black Moonstone, Larvik Granite, Marina Blue Star): Its name is derived from the place where it was found, in the Larvik Region of Norway. Larvikite is a highly protective, grounding stone of clarity and transformation that helps release past traumas and pain.
